Go Tally Me A Banana

Daylight comes and Harry Belafonte wants to open his yapper and remove all doubt as to where his priorities are. He has no problem meeting and greeting Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, but he thinks that the Department of Homeland Security is a modern day gestapo.
Entertainer Harry Belafonte, one of the Bush administration’s harshest critics, compared the Homeland Security Department to the Nazi Gestapo on Saturday and attacked the president as a liar.

“We’ve come to this dark time in which the new Gestapo of Homeland Security lurks here, where citizens are having their rights suspended,” Belafonte said in a speech to the annual meeting of the Arts Presenters Members Conference.
The guy was an entertainer and had a great voice, but now he's using it for evil. When you cavort with the likes of Hugo Chavez but complain about the US, there's something quite wrong with your worldview.

UPDATE:
bRight and Early, The World According to Chris both catch Belafonte in his ranting mode.
