Curious George Strikes Again

Is he simply too freakish for the Celebrity Big Brother? Yuppers! And his reception back in the House of Commons isn't going to be an exercise in classic British civility either:
"When he returns to the House of Commons there is going to be such a chorus of 'Meow'. He'll have a saucer of milk waiting for him and a litter tray."

He described Galloway's appearance on the show as "a slow-motion car crash".

The Sun newspaper ran video stills today appearing to show Galloway meeting Saddam Hussein's son Uday.

Pictures have previously been published of Galloway meeting Saddam in 1994, but The Sun said the new video was made in 1999 during a visit by Galloway to Iraq.

While the Respect MP is certain to emerge from the house to controversy, he has also been cold-shouldered by his fellow housemates after a series of vicious outbursts.

When Galloway was reminded he had been banned from nominating for discussing the other housemates, he bawled at Preston: "Pipe down, Mr Indignation. We'll see what the viewers thought of your double standards, your indignation about me and the aplomb with which you become a lying plutocrat in your gentleman's club."
Galloway doesn't need enemies - he's his own worst enemy and he has done more to marginalize his own stature in Britain than anyone else. Of course, that wont stop him from trying to stay in the spotlight and continue with his anti-Semitic and pro-Islamist views, but they're now going to be seen being spouted from a guy who wore a red bodystocking on television.

UPDATE:
Galloway's got more problems than simply being kicked off Celebrity Big Brother or being the target of British humor (see expected welcome back to House of Commons above). He's got to worry about images and video of him hanging with Uday Hussein. And further investigations into UNSCAM by the Serious Fraud Office. Michelle Malkin has more.

UPDATE:
Captain Ed has more on Galloway's legal troubles across the pond.
