I frankly can't stand watching the shows, particularly at the outset. The people they bring on the show are so horribly bad that it makes me wonder.
Do the American Idol producers spend nearly as much time trying to find the next American Idol as they do finding the idiots, freaks, and hopelessly awful folks that are nothing more than filler for the real episodes? It's a toss up.
