Where's the Tolerance and Respect?

Palestinians loot and pilage the remains of synogogues and buildings abandoned by Israel after they ended a 38 year occupation of Gaza Strip. They're razing the structures completely. Not a single Palestinian leader stood up and said that it was wrong to destroy a piece of Jewish heritage (such as a synogogue).

Instead, the words of the day were looting and pillaging.

Not that any of this should be unfamiliar to Israelis. This was the same thing that happened when Israelis were unable to maintain control of East Jerusalem and the Jewish Quarter during the war of independence in 1947-8. The Arab armies completely demolished every synogogue in the quarter, and ransacked every structure, removing every trace of judaica from the area. They turned gravestones into tiles for toilets. They destroyed every trace of Jewish culture.

And we're witnessing this once again.

Some things do not change.

For the Palestinians, they never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

Instead of using the end of the occupation to take control of the abandoned buildings and use them as schools, hospitals or housing, they destroyed them. Of course the Palestinians will wail about how they need more money to build new housing and infrastructure, but think of all the infrastructure they just torched.

The Palestinian leadership - Never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity since the 1960s.
