

This is a waterfall at La Brea Tar Pits. I happened to use an Ultrapod2 to get this shot. It was far easier to lug around that piece of equipment than a full sized tripod, and still manage to have a somewhat stable platform to take the pictures. Not a bad investment for $20. The main drawback with the Ultrapod is that low angle shots require being a contortionist to be able to frame and make the shots. Getting an angle viewer/eyepiece would make up for this deficiency.
