I probably should have noticed the problem sooner, but my Sitemeter statistics for the last two weeks are short due to the fact that only hits to the homepage appear to have been counted. Apparently my sidebar wasn't loading completely and the Sitemeter applet wasn't loading and registering hits to the individual pages (direct links to blog postings). I've reorganized my sidebar to make sure that the Sitemeter information registers on all pages.
That should do the trick.
And that should be a lesson to all you folks just starting out. Make sure that you're counting all the hits to your blog - not just the frontpage. And check to see that the counters are working.
